The farm has about 18 dunams of organic olive trees, and between the rows grows the moss plant from which the hyssop spice is prepared, and herbs used to make tea infusions.
On the farm there are peacocks, roosters and rabbits. Instead of a small, modern cold press, we produce organic olive oil from our olives (the advantage is that the olive is cut off, and immediately moves to produce oil, thus avoiding oxidation and produces very good quality oil).
Instead of experiential tours for families / groups / and as an activity for birthdays.
The children took a walking tour and enjoyed various activities:
* Harvest olives, and prepare a jar of pickled olives to take home with them.
Feed chickens
* We will cook wheat for flour, knead dough and yafo pita.
* Pick the moss plant and prepare the za’atar flavor.
* Identify herbs, and pick them up for tea.
Finally, they will rest and eat from what they have prepared themselves.
The adults will enjoy a roll from the taboon, herbal tea and natural lemonade, and of course the children.
The tours are held on Fridays and Saturdays, and on school holidays between 10:00 and 16:00, by appointment
